New York based Ruby Silvious is a visual artist and graphic designer. Her experimentation with recycled and found materials include her ambitious “363 Days of Tea” visual diary which she began earlier this year.
She not only wanted to challenge her creativity but at the same time turn the humble used tea bag into something it was never meant to be. She said, ” While you may see a soggy, stained tea bag, I see a blank canvas.” She also added, “I think reimagining the discarded as art inspires new forms of creativity.”
Her illustrated tea bag art are delightfully whimsical and evocative. The illustrations do indeed showcase her artistic talent.
