Let’s face it. Most of us don’t bother to print out photographs anymore. But occasionally, we might want to share our images in the physical sense. Preferably in a totally convenient manner.
So the new portable Instax Share SP-1 printer from Fuji might just be the ticket for those who want that convenience. It allows smartphone users to wirelessly print photographs from their mobile devices instantly even when on the go.
The accompanying app has photo-editing options. The ability to add information including date, time and location right on the printouts is an option.
The printer uses INSTAX mini film with ISO 800 speed. It’s powered by 2 CR2 lithium batteries which will be sufficient for about 100 prints. The Instax will become available in April 2014 for $200. On the expensive side perhaps, but there is always a price to pay for convenience!
